Frequently Asked Questions

1. What should I bring?

Polarized sunglasses, preferably with amber lenses, sunscreen, a hat, a camera, whatever you prefer to eat and drink(no bananas), sometimes rain gear and good fishing zen.

2. Do I need fishing gear?

I have all the equipment you will need; spinning, fly and conventional rods and reels. Some of my customers bring their own, especially my fly fishermen. If you have a special rod you are comfortable with, feel free to bring it.

3. What is a grand slam?

Grand slams vary as to your geographical location and style of fishing. Our grand slam is the flats slam, which consists of catching a bonefish, permit and tarpon on the same day.
